First look inside The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie
Restaurant will open its doors on March 14
It’s famous in London for being a celebrity hangout, and now The Ivy is about to open in Cambridge.
Last week, the Cambridge Independent was the first to be invited in to the new restaurant.
The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie – which will be the chain’s 21st restaurant in the country – will open its doors on Wednesday March 14.
There is space for up to 159 guests in the main restaurant, bar and terrace, and the restaurant will also offer a private dining room for up to 16 guests.
Walk-ins will be encouraged with a number of tables held back each day to allow locals to drop in at a time that best suits them.
Dubo Jelicic, originally from Croatia, is the general manager.
He told the Cambridge Independent: “The Ivy Cambridge Brasserie will be opening right in the heart of Cambridge, on Trinity Street. We’ll be open seven days a week, from dawn until dusk, offering everything from breakfast, coffees, light bites, lunch, afternoon tea, supper and weekend brunch.
“As well as the main restaurant and bar, the brasserie will also feature a private dining room, seating up to 16 guests and offering an ideal location for birthdays and celebrations. Our interiors have been designed by the critically-acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and will allow guests to enjoy a sophisticated yet relaxed environment within a beautiful setting.”
