Cambridge Foodies Festival cooks up a storm on Parker’s Piece for three days
The Cambridge Foodies Festival 2021 will dish up a treat on Parker’s Piece from Friday, July 23 to Sunday, July 25.
You can watch MasterChef champions and Michelin star chefs cook up their signature summer recipes and share their top tips in a chefs’ theatre.
The line-up includes the chef director at Parker’s Tavern Tristan Welch, Great British Menu judge and the two Michelin-starred chef of Midsummer House Daniel Clifford as well as Hermine from Bake Off, MasterChef: The Professionals 2020 winner Alex Webb, and MasterChef 2020 finalist Mike Tomkins.
Visitors can sample new wines, champagnes and cocktails in the drinks theatre, eat delicious street food from around the world, meet artisan producers, as well as taking part in chilli eating competitions and other food challenges.
Children can join in the fun at the Kids Cookery Theatre run by SuperChefs, where they can learn to create recipes with a teddy bear picnic theme.
Children under 12 get in for free and dogs on a short leash can come along.
The festival runs from:
- Friday July 23 - 12-8pm
- Saturday July 24 - 11am-8pm
- Sunday July 25 - 11am-7pm
