Crosstown Cambridge to give away free doughnuts
Crosstown, an award-winning doughnut brand which opened in Cambridge in 2021, has teamed up with nut butter company Pip & Nut to create two vegan limited edition products, launching on March 30.
To celebrate, they will be giving away doughnuts from the Cambridge store on Bridge Street from 12pm.
Limited edition products include the almond butter cinnamon scroll doughnut – Crosstown’s vegan cinnamon scroll, filled with custard and almond butter – and the cinnamon scroll almond butter, an almond butter inspired by Crosstown’s cinnamon scroll doughnut. Flavours of Mexican agave, Zanzibari cinnamon and hand-picked Tongan vanilla are blended with Pip & Nut's almond butter.
To mark the launch of their collaboration Crosstown and Pip & Nut will be giving away 800 doughnuts and cinnamon scroll almond butter jars to the first 200 people who visit the Cambridge store, from 12pm on Wednesday (March 30).
Adam Wills, co-founder of Crosstown – which first opened in London in 2014 – said: “The cinnamon scroll has been a staple flavour since Crosstown came to fruition in 2014 and remains one of our best-selling flavours. Reimagining the classic flavour with Pip & Nut has been an exciting and rewarding journey, especially as our brands align so naturally.
“We’ve combined our expertise, knowledge of flavour profiles, and ingredient sources to craft these delicious treats. Joining forces with Pip & Nut is a huge milestone, we look forward to seeing how both products are received by Crosstown and Pip & Nut fans across the UK on March 30.”
