Crosstown to give away free doughnuts to celebrate this year’s Boat Race

To celebrate the Gemini Boat Race between Cambridge University Boat Club and Oxford University Boat Club this weekend, doughnut brand Crosstown is giving away 50 vegan dark chocolate truffle dough bites, finished with edible ‘Team Cambridge’ toppers, to the first 50 people who visit the store at 8 Bridge Street on Sunday (March 26). The opening hours are 9am to 6pm.

Crosstown is an award-winning doughnut brand which opened in Cambridge in 2021. It was the first site to open outside of London since the company launched in 2014.

Having seen their three-year winning streak come to an end 12 months ago, the University of Cambridge men’s team will be particularly determined to come out on top this year.
