Deliveroo brings Shake Shack to Cambridge

Famous American burger brand Shake Shack has launched its first site in Cambridge through Deliveroo.

Cambridge residents will now be able to order dishes from one of America’s favourite burger brands, Shake Shack, on Deliveroo as the two firms announce that Shake Shack has joined Deliveroo Editions in Cambridge.

From this week, customers will be able to order meals from Shake Shack, all cooked and prepared at Deliveroo’s purpose-built, delivery-only, super kitchen in Cambridge.

All the classics will be on the menu including their signature ShackBurger, SmokeShack, crispy crinkle-cut fries, Chick’n Bites, and drinks.

Shake Shack, which opened its first UK site in Covent Garden in 2013, has launched in 19 UK locations to date.

Following the closure of all their UK restaurants due to Covid-19, Shake Shack looked to expand its reach using Deliveroo’s delivery-only Editions kitchens.

As well as Shake Shack, customers in Cambridge can now get food from some of the UK’s biggest names including Dishoom, Burger & Lobster, The Athenian and Ahi Poke when they order from Deliveroo.

Daniel Harris, head of Editions for regional UK, said: “Bringing great food to our customers is at the heart of what we do here at Deliveroo.

"That’s why we’re delighted to be bringing Shake Shack onto the platform. We know our customers in Cambridge love a good burger, and Shake Shack’s are some of the best out there.”

Customers in Cambridge can order Shake Shack from today (February 9) from 12pm to 10.45pm, seven days a week.

Orders can be placed directly through the Deliveroo app, or online.
