Free lunch for all at new Cambridge Tortilla on National Taco Day
Californian Mexican eatery, Tortilla, will open its doors to Cambridge on National Taco Day (Friday, October 4).
Situated on Market Hill in the city centre, the branch is the first to open in Cambridge.
To celebrate its opening, the restaurant will be offering a string of promotions and competitions for the public to enjoy starting with free lunch for everyone on October 4, between 12 and 2pm, on a first come first serve basis.
The restaurant is expecting to give away at least 500 free lunches.
Then, throughout the opening week, Tortilla will be offering buy one get one free on all mains, followed by double loyalty points for the rest of the month on all orders made with a registered loyalty card.
Customers can also take part in the restaurant’s Fan Friday Instagram competition to bag themselves a free meal - a winner will be announced each Friday.
Tortilla prides itself on fresh and vibrant flavours with healthy options and a fully customisable menu, so that customers can enjoy burritos, tacos, nachos, quesadillas and more, exactly how they like them.
Richard Morris, managing director of Tortilla, said: “We’re excited to bring the flavours of Tortilla to Cambridge, the city’s first Cali-Mexican offering.
Our founders started Tortilla in 2007, after a four-year search across London for tasty and affordable burritos and tacos like the ones served in San Francisco, and we now proudly operate in 41 locations across the UK.”
