Garden House restaurant to host Cambridge Club Festival takeover
To celebrate the start of festival season, next Thursday (April 28), Garden House restaurant, located within the Graduate Cambridge hotel, will be offering a special evening of dining and drinks, plus live music.
The event will be hosted by the Cambridge Club Festival, for which the Cambridge Independent is a media partner and which takes place on June 10-12, bringing an eclectic mix of music - including Diana Ross, the Jacksons, and Level 42 - to Childerley Orchard, just outside Cambridge.
Garden House will be serving a limited-edition two-course menu curated by chef Adam Wood, with locally-sourced dishes including:
- Glazed beef short rib, grilled flourish farm greens and wild garlic
- Grilled courgette, Berkswell cheese and basil pie
- Cambridge burnt cream tart
- Apple and Mezcal sorbet
In the Garden Bar, cocktails inspired by the local history and natural surroundings of Cambridge will be served and a session of live music will follow from 8pm, with a mix of Motown, funk, soul and disco performed by two finalists of a Live & Local campaign. They will be battling it out for the chance to win a main stage set at the Cambridge Club Festival.
This special two-course menu is available from 6pm to 7.30pm at £25 per person. Live music will follow in the Garden Bar from 8pm to 10pm.
