Snakes and sword-swallowers welcome guests back to The Grain & Hop Store, Cambridge
It was quite the reopening for The Grain & Hop Store on Regent Street, Cambridge last Thursday (November 25) – with sword swallowers and snakes present at the launch party, as our exclusive pictures show.
Following an extensive refurbishment, the establishment also boasts a new food and drinks menu, which includes dishes such as jerk chicken, jackfruit wings and plant-based ribs – alongside dirty burgers for the meat-eaters. The pub has also introduced a ‘bottomless brunch’.
It’s not only the food menu that has been refreshed, with a new drinks menu which includes cocktails on tap, monin mocktails and local Cambridge beers. The Grain & Hop Store is also the only place in Cambridge to serve Rave coffee – the conscious coffee brand – available at the new takeaway kiosk, along with draft beers and festive drinks.
The pub has also introduced a signature serve gin and juice – freshly-squeezed apple juice served over ice with gin. Emilia Raimondi-Baker, general manager, said: “We can’t wait for our regulars and new customers to come and hang with us at The Grain & Hop Store.
“This epic transformation gives the pub a completely new vibe, certain to wow our Cambridge locals – I can’t wait to hear what everyone thinks!”
